Dere Bay Resort and Koro Beach Resort are online and can be booked via the web. Koro is now largely fuel independent and we are actively working to switch all TDC vehicles to biofuel, as well as the generators. This, along with being the "greenest residential development" makes Koro Island a role model for island sustainability and development! Thank you to everyone that has worked hard on making this a reality.

Koro Island is on Facebook with more than 1300 members from all over the world! This networking site gives us the ability to connect with all owners and share video and images in one convenient place, and well as spread news quickly, as was done during Cyclone Tomas where we were able to send updates and keep everyone posted! We encourage you to sign up, add a picture and join David Miller and the Koro Island crew on the web!

Internet is now available on Koro Island for all owners and guest through the Koro Beach Resort Satellite linkup. Owners can pay F$25 per month, and guests pay F$5 per day. We are finally connected! Digicel has built a large new tower and pretty much ALL of Koro Seaview Estates is covered. The cheapest way right now to call Fiji is through your computer with www.skype.com

The Fiji government is proud of having built a biodiesel plant at Nacamaci to process copra into fuel so the island can be self-sufficient for fuel. This is a big step for Koro! 43 more plants are planned to be built throughout Fiji. Flights are also back on from Suva to Koro each Saturday and cab be booked directly with Northern Air.

Building: There are several different builders working on Koro. The best way to choose one is to come and visit, look at what they have built, bring your ideas and negotiate a price. It is quite difficult to do this online, especially if you have not seen your lot in person. So come and see us on Koro!

Road Fees: 2011 Road fees will be due by March 2011! Please update your emails with me and send in your fees (F$250) for each lot you own that is above the lot number K256. Payments can now be made by credit card. There are a few folks who have not paid for 2009 and 2010, please make sure that your fees get sent in! Also, monthly payments can now be made by credit card now as well.
